DUAL RAILS

Protocol

Never only incense. Never only metal. Full braid — form + engine.

RAIL A · SAṂSKṚTA
  • Sound · morph · text · speak
  • Recite · table · read
  • Śikṣā · living competence
  • Paramparā continuity
RAIL B · PĀṆINI TECH
  • Metalanguage · operators · engines
  • PNF · IPv8 · DVM · Lopa
  • Tests · hashes · golden strings
  • Offline core honesty

Design axioms

State ≠ Surface

Phonology is a render layer. Semantics and control live in registers. What you see is not all that governs.

Deterministic GC

Deletion is never unstructured. tasya lopaḥ and lu-class zeros decide whether side-effects persist or are masked.

Zero as First-Class

∅ is a typed operator that triggers conditional logic. Modern null is a pale imitation.

Dual Rails

Rail A: Saṃskṛta competence. Rail B: Pāṇini tech. Never only incense, never only metal.

Operator board

लोप01
lopa
Null Object + tombstone; surface empty, identity live
अधिकार02
adhikāra
namespace / with-block / cgroup
अनुवृत्ति03
anuvṛtti
inherited environment / context dict
उत्सर्ग04
utsarga
default branch / base method
अपवाद05
apavāda
override / specificity wins
असिद्ध06
asiddha
epoch isolation / failed angle does not poison next
प्रत्याहार07
pratyāhāra
set / bitclass / enum of sounds
लाघव08
lāghava
shorter / more specific rule preferred

Sūtra spine

1.1.60
adarśanaṁ lopaḥ

Non-perception is called lopa (zero-substitution).

1.1.61
pratyayasya luk-ślu-lupah

Luk, Ślu, Lup are named zeroings of affixes.

1.1.62
pratyaya-lope pratyaya-lakṣaṇam

When an affix is zeroed by lopa, operations due to it still apply.

1.1.63
na lumatāṅgasya

Under lu-class zeros, operations do not apply to the stem.

1.3.9
tasya lopaḥ

Of that (it-marker), there is lopa — strip after configure.

1.1.5
kniti ca

Also when K/Ṅ/N-it: guṇa and vṛddhi are blocked.

Heritage

Aṣṭādhyāyī

~4,000 sūtras · 8 adhyāyas · generative grammar of Classical Sanskrit

Linguistic zero

Four zero kinds — lopa, luk, ślu, lup — each with distinct function

Formal systems

Post rewrite systems, BNF gaps, context-sensitive formal models
